What is Thermiculite?

This remarkable product range is rated to withstand temperatures of over 1000°C and is API 607 tested.

Sheet jointing

SIGMA
Sigma® is the latest generation of biaxially orientated PTFE materials. It was developed to withstand temperature ranges from cryogenic to 260°C and to provide enhanced sealing capabilities across the entire pH range.
Spiral wound gaskets
A Spiral Wound Gasket is made up of a metallic winding strip with a sealing layer of non metallic material, typically graphite or PTFE. The Flexitallic range of Spiral Wound Gaskets can be utilised in a range of applications, including flanged joints, heat exchangers, boiler handholds, manholes and more. The Flexitallic range is tested for high pressure, high temperature applications and is resistant to virtually all corrosive and toxic elements.
Change gasket
Flexitallic created the Change gasket to solve the problems faced with long-term heat exchanger sealing. The manufacturing process uses a material that is 5 times thicker than standard heat exchanger sealing products. The unique laser welding process is able to penetrate the winding, eliminating the need for an inner or outer ring. The Change gasket has proven to perform without fail at least 60% longer than any other heat exchanger gaskets.
Ring type joints
Flexitallic’s Ring Type Joints are typically used for high pressure applications, including oil and gas exploration. Ring Type Joints, or RTJs are typically used on valves and pipework assemblies.
